Senior DevOps Engineer (offline)
We are looking for Senior DevOps Engineer to join the team of a project.
About the project:
Logistic Network App, the customer located in the United Kingdom.
Communication between freight companies become easier! The application helps user to find new partners and agents, documents and feedback exchange, rates posting, chatting etc. It’s some kind of professional network for those who work in transport and logistics domain worldwide.

What would you be doing?
-You will join our DevOps team.
-You will help us to move from Amazon ECS to Kubernetes/Istio.
-You will support us in the transition from a monolithic architecture to microservices.
What we are expecting from you?
-5+ years in a DevOps role
-Solid knowledge of working in cloud based infrastructure, in particular AWS.
-Proven experience deploying and managing Kubernetes/Docker clusters.
-Experience with Istio, Envoy, Prometheus
-Solid knowledge of microservices oriented architectures.
-Familiarity with Multi Region Topologies, Auto Scaling, Load Balancers, Proxy Servers, SNS, SQS, DNS, CDNs and WAFs.
-Capable of architecting frictionless security and compliance best practices into global cloud infrastructure.
-At ease with troubleshooting in complex environments through experience using monitoring and logging tools such as NewRelic, DataDog, Graylog and Kibana.
-Familiar with Infrastructure as Code, in particular with Terrafom.
-Good knowledge of configuration management tools, preferably Ansible.
-Experience with build tools, especially with Jenkins.
-Knowledge of artifacts repositories (e.g. Quay.io).
-Solid understanding of service discovery and distributed key-value stores.
-Experience working with RDBMS like PostgreSQL, MySQL
-Experienced working in/with Lean, DevOps cultures
-Experience with Java coding, especially Spring Boot, is a great advantage.
