Manual QA engineer (offline)
Requirements
We are looking for a test engineer who can join the team performing project activities that shall end up with setting up a Power BI dashboard representing progress and KPIs of the projects within the client’s portfolio.
The project will include the following activities:
– definition of the dashboard content (set of projects and metrics represented on the dashboard)
– definition of dashboard design
– definition of data sources and algorythms for the metrics calculation
– implementation of the dashboard
– implementation of automated pipelines for collecting and processing data needed to drive the dashboard
The purpose of this project is to gain better visibility of the multiple client’s software development projects to the client’s management. The client wants to be able to measure and visualize various KPIs and overal progress of the project.
This is part of a bigger initiative to help provide enhanced tracing and auditing, insights into user activity within client’s products, and correlated metrics.
The project team will be lead by a Power BI developer accompanied with a UI/UX designer and a QA engineer.
A candidate shall:
- Be able to perfom testing of the BI dashboard and other front-end components
- Be able to perform testing of the data preparation pipelines and other back-end components
- Contrubute to other project activities related to requirements and acceptance criteria definition and development support.
- Be familiar with Jira API, as a primary data source for metrics calculation
- Have a good verbal and written English sufficient for daily communication with project stakeholders

- Work closely with client’s stakeholders and teammates on proper definition of acceptance criteria and requirements to the dashboard and relevant data processing.
- Perform testing of the software components developed within the project.
- Coordinate activities with the teammates.
