Project manager&Team Lead (with banking projects experience) (offline)

Seeking an experienced Project Manager and Team Leader to establish, lead, manage and advise a team of diverse remote developers and designers in the Ukraine while reporting to the central office in New York. The candidate should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, experience in running outsourced operations for foreign firms and diverse teams, and the capability to set up infrastructure, processes, business systems and reporting to ensure smooth operations and to maximize team productivity. A background in finance and programming preferred.

Requirements:

- 5+ years of professional outsourced team and infrastructure management with well-known outsourcing firms in the Ukraine providing services to Wall Street trading firms or hedge funds

- 5+ years of programming, design, analysis and team leadership in the finance industry is required

- Ability to facilitate the dynamic assignment, review, management, guidance, support and control of a diverse set of outsourced software professionals in the Ukraine

- Use and understanding of Agile, Kanban and other rapid development methodologies

- Ability to set up and manage infrastructure, processes and systems needed to coordinate, manage and support the productivity of each outsourced resource

- Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with the teams both in the Ukraine and New York to ensure assigned work gets completed correctly, timely and appropriately

- Ability to handle the day-to-day project management of all assignments to the outsourced team, and handle any financial, medical, infrastructure and tax expenses that need to be taken care

- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

- Education: Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields.
