Freelance React Engineer (offline)

We are seeking a Front-End Engineer to join our team. This role requires an innovative and creative developer who can deliver reactive web interfaces for our market leading product. This role will be part of our offshore technical team working in an Agile environment to efficiently create, design, implement, and test solutions for our clients/projects.

The successful candidate will have experience conducting the following tasks in a fast-paced small team environment:
• Help build and lead an efficient front-end development team comprised of local, remote, and contract developers
• Front-End development using current, applicable technologies such as React and GraphQL
• Develop clean and elegant code (including unit test cases) with a high attention to detail
• Identify, recommend, and integrate common open-source plugin libraries that can be used to meet requirements when appropriate
• Create an appropriate level of documentation for coding implementations such that other team members can easily understand what was built
• Design, develop, and recommend coding standards and best practices to follow for any given project
• Translate mockups into visually appealing, professional-looking applications with a high standard for coding best practices
• Review developer implementations and provide feedback during the implementation of the UX/UI designs

Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in front-end development using Javascript, HTML, and CSS
• Development of production enterprise applications using React (or similar framework)
• Experience with progressive web apps development
• Experience with Cordova/Ionic
• Experience with GraphQL
• Experience with Kubernetes/Docker
• Experience with web sockets or any other messaging system
• Work with SEO
• Demonstrated experience with Agile, TDD, continuous integration, continuous deployment, configuration management, and unit testing
• Aptitude and desire to learn, and apply new technical concepts
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Detail orientation and strong follow-through on personal and team tasks
• Must be a self-motivated, creative problem-solver with strong attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
