About Us:

WePlay! Esports is the first esportainment company in TECHIIA holding, that combined esports, storytelling and entertainment content. We want to surprise and entertain every esports fan and attract new ones. We have been organizing esports online tournaments and LAN finals for professional teams of tier-1 and tier-2 levels since 2012. We broadcast for millions of viewers from our studio to Twitch channel and other streaming platforms. Also we have developed our own WePlay! Esports online media and tournament platform.

About the role:

As an Android Developer you will be a part of a new dedicated team of WePlay! Esports — DashFight. If shortly, DashFight is the world’s first portal with the most complete information on the three most popular esports fighting disciplines (Tekken, Street Fighter and Smash Bros.) and more to come.

Your task is to launch MVP version to Google Play

Responsibilities:
- Designing and building applications for Android platform
- Ensuring performance and quality of the application
- Collaborating with cross functional team to define and design the app
- Performing checks on correct functionality of app
- Integrating application with backend tools such as APIs and push notifications
- Helping maintain code quality, organization and automation
- Providing prototypes and proofs of concepts

Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as an Android Developer
- Experience in application development from scratch
- Strong experience with Kotlin
- Competent in asynchronous programming (RxJava, Coroutines, Native Concurrency)
- Competent in Android Architecture components
- Practical experience in continuous integration and tools used for continuous integration
- Experience with Dagger2 / Koin
- MVP, MVVM, clean architecture

Would be a plus:
- Experience in working with Video and Video streams
- Experience with Advertising and Billing in App
- Experience with GraphQL backends (apollo-android library)
- App examples in Google Play (pet or work projects)
