Middle Magento Front-End Developer (offline)

Challenges

— Work closely with all team members within Forbytes and with Stakeholders on different projects
— Complete high-quality work with thoroughness and accuracy to achieve results
— Come up with recommendations about solutions that best fits client business needs
— Offer innovative approaches for project development on the Magento platform using the latest technologies

Your role in the project

— Delivering defect-free code that meets requirements
— Delivering functionality specified in the requirements and meeting the acceptance criteria
— Providing feedback for the team and client on how to best achieve business needs using technology and the services Forbytes supplies
— Analyze and recommend constant improvements
— Create tech documentation of developed solutions
— Support and maintain issues to full-scale, sophisticated online stores
— Estimate issues and tasks

Requirements

A successful candidate for this position should meet the following technical knowledge and experience:

— Has at least two years of relevant experience as Front-End developer working with Magento platform, and a record of successfully delivering projects on the M2 version
— Experience in JavaScript, responsive design, HTML, CSS and jQuery
— Experience in building and testing for different browsers and devices
— Understanding of basic OOP principles and design patterns
— Experience in working with GIT
— Experience in Magento 2 is essential (understanding of Magento code structure, API, extension architecture, theme hierarchy and fallback components)
— Familiarity with Linux (navigation, working with files and folders, configuring servers, etc.)

Preferences

Would be a plus if the candidate has knowledge or experience with:

— eCommerce business domain
— Web performance optimization
— Agile development approach (knowing Jira on developer level)
— Magento 2 certification
— Building PWA solutions (not required)
