Java Backend Developer (Cloud) (offline)

Requirements:
- At least 5 years of practical experience in software development;
- Strong Java knowledge;
- In-depth knowledge and practical experience in Linux and Docker;
- Experience with architecting and implementing solutions at scale;
- Experience with a public cloud platform such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure;
- Self-learner, who is up to date with the latest technologies;
- Competencies:
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly in English, both verbally and in writing;
- Ability to work within a distributed international team environment;
- Strong communication, organizational and prioritization skills;


Nice to have

- Experience with Postgresql, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, Prometheus;
Good understanding and hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm-Chart


Responsibilities
- Production support (working hours only);
- Collaborating with other team members in investigating and resolving technical or performance issues and performing root cause analysis;
Implementing tactical and long-terms product improvements (could be code, script or documentation related);
- Creating, maintaining, supporting deployment scripts and process;
- Maintaining technical documentation;

We are looking for a back-end developer to join the team that is in charge of improving the production reliability and efficiency of the cloud products. This team will monitor, support, improve all the internal and production stacks of the product, so the developer should master Java, Docker and Linux and be capable of quickly analyzing and troubleshooting complex (distribute) problems.

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the entire software development lifecycle, possess strong technical skills and should be able to demonstrate a strong bias for action. He/she should be open for either technical or non-technical solutions that will help improve the product.
