Data Visualization Engineer (offline)

What is required?

● 3+ years of experience in Experience developing interactive Data Visualizations
● Fluent in JavaScript with up-to-date knowledge of ES6; practical experience with ReactJS, Typescript is a plus
● Experience with D3.js library and familiarity with any other commonly used visualization libraries
● Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3
● Have a good eye for subtle UI details
● Experience connecting front-end interfaces with SQL-based databases
● Familiarity with Git or similar version control
● Advanced / Upper-Intermediate English
● Deep domain expertise of data science, statistical analysis, and data visualization

What will be a plus?

● Familiarity with analytical tools like Tableau or Spotfire
● Background in rendering techniques
● UI/UX Design background
● Open-source contributions
● An online/accessible portfolio of previous work

What will you do?

● Conceptualizing, designing, and developing reusable data visualizations using the very latest technologies
● Designing/developing industry-leading data visualizations based on an understanding of common and more fine-grained data visualization/representation challenges, data problems
● Developing advanced and attractive interactive data visualizations using the d3 JavaScript library
● Collaborating with data scientists, BI analysts and engineering to understand data and design compelling visualizations
