Chief Accountant | Finance (offline)
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in the role of Chief Accountant (preferably international companies);
- Proven track record of Accounting for companies incorporated in a holding structure;
- Experience cooperating with BIG4 auditors for Financial statement audit;
- Good knowledge of financial controlling;
- Proven experience communicating with external auditors;
- Strong understanding of state and local tax regulations of non-resident companies;
- Good written and verbal English skills (enough to communicate with external auditors);
- Time management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines;
- Strong ‘get things done’ approach;
- Analytical skills.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- To be responsible for full cycle accounting for a group of companies (non-resident);
- To identify, investigate and analyse potential operational improvement. As appropriate, based on findings make proposals for operational changes (policy, procedures, processes, controls etc.);
- To execute accounting reports, tax planning, tax consultation (with the help of external consultants);
- To prepare and coordinate external audits process;
- To manage a team of 7 accountants (different jurisdictions);
- To compare actual results to budgeted results and provide variance explanations on a monthly basis.
