IT Support Specialist (offline)

Responsibilities:
- Identify, research, and resolve Level 2 technical issues
- Maintain core services (Confluence, Jira, G-Suites, Freshdesk) for updates, uptime, etc.
- Maintain core AWS cloud servers (Linux) i.e updates, ensuring network
operability, monitoring solution.
- Proactively monitor the infrastructure for possible issues and take
necessary action to prevent and/or mitigate an outage.
- Work directly with technology vendors when necessary in order to ensure
all hardware and software systems are running properly.
- Available to open (or close) user accounts, configure hardware and
software.
- Making sure anti-virus are up to dates and portable device storage are
encrypted.
- On-site work:
Laptop setup and maintenance;
Door card maintenance and issuing;
Employee security training.
- Actively contribute to ongoing process improvements.
- Assist in software and SaaS licence management duties in order to ensure
compliance and cost controls.

Must-Have skills:
- Available for bespoke support requests at arbitrary times
- Windows, Mac and Linux maintenance experience
- Fundamental understanding of TCP/IP and Wireless technologies
- Familiarity with enterprise security best practices

Nice-to-Have skills:
- Familiar with compliance environments and regulatory requirements
