Requirements
2+ years of experience in technical writing and/or related areas
Advanced level of English, both written and verbal
Clear and vigorous writing style
Strong understanding of the software product life cycle and documentation development process and standards
Ability to manage complex and interconnected amounts of information
Natural curiosity to explore the technical sides of the project and learn how it works
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, willingness and ability to consult with subject matter experts from other departments
Being comfortable in independent work. Ability to organize your work process with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
Being accurate, attentive, precise and a bit meticulous person
Basic knowledge of programming is desirable
Responsibilities
Create and update internal and customer-facing materials: user guides, walkthroughs, company blog articles, and scripts for video tutorials
Collaborate with our product management, marketing, software development and design teams to deliver a perfect final product
Monitor help center analytics to make the content meet customers’ needs
Ensure that product UI texts are clear, correct, and engaging
Become an expert for the product being documented
Ameliorate products by reporting defects. Be sure that documented defects are corrected
