Data Architect (BNY) (offline)

The system will ultimately allow their clients to have clear insight into their assets and collateral and their distribution across multiple custodians and other relevant institutions as well as all liabilities and allow management of them in the most economic, timely and transparent way. At the initial stage, the objectives are to assess existing infrastructure and core processes, define best ways to aggregate all the required data, clean, normalize and store it, make it available to all relevant applications ajnd users within the bank. Successful candidate - Has experience in the capital markets, ideally in collateral management space, understands the banking and custodian business, - Has experience authoring architecture and solutions for large distributed systems, ideally in the asset management space, - Has experience building applications that cater for data management, cleansing, dissemination, normalization, - Has experience working with inter-banks communications, SWIFT, CCF and alike, - Has experience working with modern data storage, management and ETL tools, - Has experience building cloud-native applications, using cloud-based managed services, especially in the data spacem - Has experience working with third-party solutions in the data management area, - Can demonstrate high level of communications and presentation, ability to work with technical and business stakeholders, deliver concepts clearly

Responsibilities:
- Work with business and IT stakeholders to render the solution
- Document architecture and defend it's technology, TCO and rationale
- Define how suggested architecture can fit within existing bank's context and integrate with upstream and downstream applications
