Senior Python Developer (offline)

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s Degree or relevant technical education in computer science, software engineering or math
– 4+ years of professional experience as a Python backend developer in web domain
- Good knowledge of algorithms, data structures & system design.
- Experience working with python libraries such as opencv & scikit learn
- Image processing skills is a big advantage
- Good knowledge of numpy python library.



Nice to have:
- Understanding how convolution and cross correlation algorithms work.
- Knowledge of image processing such as template matching algorithms, feature extraction algorithms, image transformation (such as affine transformation). etc.
- Basic knowledge of machine learning, understanding at least such algorithms like svm, knn, random forest algorithm
- Experience with python Flask web framework
- Experience working with and building microservice architectures.
- Experience with 3D volume manipulation is an advantage
- Experience working with Nameko python framework will be a plus.
- Experience in API design and development
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage
- Good written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities:
– Conception, creating and building web application
– Working through the web application development lifecycle to launch
– Developing functional databases, applications and servers to support our web application on the back end
– Developing and designing RESTful services and APIs
– Troubleshooting issues and problem solving as necessary
– Keeping current with industry trends and developments that can be applied in the process
