Senior Java Engineer (Ready to work with Node.js) (offline)

Responsibilities:
Creating new and sustaining existing POS (point-of-sale) agent services using Node.js
​Building and maintaining low level services
Writing efficient, performant, concurrent and robust code for systems with limited resources
Managing tasks within an Agile framework, clearing Sprinted tasks and managing JIRA workflows
Developing cloud-based data pipeline architecture
Collaborating with other engineering teams, and the product management team to make sure the products are easy to us

Required Skills:
5+ years of backend software development experience using Node.js or/and Java
​Experience working with relational databases
Experience in using AWS (or other clouds)
Ability to work in an agile development lifecycle and a continuous delivery model
Familiarity with performance profiling your code at runtime
Ability to work individually, good self-management
Great communication skills
Upper-Intermediate English level

​Will be a plus:
Experience with Node.JS
​Any and all Point Of Sale (POS) experience (micros, posi, aloha)
