Data Architect (offline)

Requirements:
Azure Platform Expertise;
Azure Data Factory (PaaS), Azure Blob Storage, Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server, Integration Services, Advanced SQL;
Strong and multiple years of experience in ETL and data warehousing using Azere Data Factory (Mandatory);
Expertise in US Health Insurance (Mandatory);
Knowledge of Medical Claims / Pharmacy Claims process (Good To Have);
Knowledge of Workflows for billing (Mandatory).

Job Responsibilities:
Build Data Platform which on immediately basis can have a best-in-class Data Model defined for Claims (Medical and Pharmacy), but in near future also build models for their enrollment, Member, Providers etc.
Utilize their existing stack of Azure products to implement their first project (which is Data Platform for their Claims processing system), but work with Client's Engineering team to define and build the future Azure 2.0 platform to meet all theirs future needs.
Have experience of building a Data Warehouse system in this domain and understanding of system-level requirements and data format/validation challenges that do appear in this specific domain.

Project Description:
The client is a consumer-focused health insurance and technology company that knows healthcare can be complicated and confusing - they want to change all that. The client takes care of the complicated stuff, so you can think about getting and staying healthy, instead of worrying about managing your healthcare. Our client is now looking for an Engineering partner to ingest pre- and post- adjudicated claims into a single standard model, with complete traceability and the ability to tie the claims financially. The intent is that the project will be run as a separate independent thread by a partner, with product management, architectural and software engineering oversight, and review but generally partner managed.
