Senior Full Stack Engineer (React/Redux + Golang/Python/Scala/Java + Docker + AWS) (offline)

Qualifications:

Not all qualified candidates will have all these requirements, so if you have some or most of them, we’d love for you to apply, especially if you have some nice-to-haves from below!

Approximately 3 or more years of software development including: design, implementation, and testing of production features maintenance and monitoring of production systems
Approximately 1 or more years of experience working with cross-functional stakeholders (product, sales, ops, etc)
Proficiency with at least two of Golang, any JVM languages or Python (it could be: Python + Scala/Golang/Java or Golang+Scala/Java )
Otherwise, if you feel comfortable learning new languages, tell us about your experience
Experience creating data ETL jobs for large and/or messy datasets
Preference for rapid iteration or prototyping over extended debate
Familiarity with build tools and automated build pipelines
English level: upper-intermediate

Nice to have:
Experience with databricks or Spark
Experience with search engines like Elastic or Solr
Experience developing a public facing RESTful API
Experience with Docker
Familiarity with advanced relational database topics
AWS experience, especially with managed services such as ECS over EC2

What You'll Do:
Partner with product and engineering to design scalable engineering solutions
Build and maintain production systems, including services (Go, Python, Scala), ETLs (Spark), and databases (PostgreSQL)
Build or provision new services and infrastructure for greenfield projects such as public APIs, new search verticals, and more
Mentor and share knowledge with the rest of the team.
