Middle Backend (PHP) (offline)

SocialTech is a product IT company in the Social Discovery industry. We help people from all over the world get to know each other and interact via our sites. Now we have millions of users, a team of 150+ people, and we are not going to stop.

About our product:

On average, the company size is doubled every year. We need to scale our development team in order for the business to keep up such a pace. To do this, new microservices from our product were isolated and cross-functional teams were formed around them to independently develop different parts of the business. We already have a strong middle / senior development team working on this. We want to strengthen our new cross-functional teams with a Middle Backend Developer.

PHP 7+ (Yii2, Symfony), Go
MySQL, MongoDB, Redis
ElasticSearch
RabbitMQ
Docker, k8s, GKE
High Load (10k+ rps, databases > 10ТВ)

Qualifications and experience:

– about 2 years of experience with PHP
– hands-on experience with MySQL, MongoDB/Redis, RabbitMQ, Docker
– experience in writing unit tests
– a deep understanding of OOP, the principles of SOLID and their purposes
– good knowledge and understanding of basic design patterns
