Story Writer/Narrative Designer (HolyWater) (offline)

We've decided to go into gaming and launched a role-playing app in the fastest growing mobile games niche. Now the focus is on assembling great people who will help us to drive our gaming division to new heights. In order to do that we are looking for a Story Writer to work on our project Stories: Choose Your Path. Your job will be to create your own or adapt popular fiction stories into interactive narratives that target mostly female audiences.

What you will do:
- Create from scratch or adapt existing books, movies or TV series to interactive stories format
- Work with story branching
- Create story outlines which will be used by our illustrators and narrative designers to transform your script into an interactive story

About you:
- At least one professional writing credit. This can be a published book (including online ex. Wattpad), a screenplay, work on a released video game, etc.
- Excellent written communication skills with a grasp of the English language including idioms and current trends in slang and expressions
- Copywriting/copy editing experience or experience in informational or promotional writing with a portfolio of samples is highly desirable
- Ability to meet deadlines and stay organized, work independently with little or no daily supervision
- Good understanding of human relationships, knowledge of the latest entertainment trends and pop-culture as well as open-mindedness.

Nice to have:
- Understanding of narrative monetization in interactive games
- Passion for writing and working in the video game industry is a plus.
