Android C++ Engineer (IRC95698) (offline)

We are looking for a Software Developer for one of our automotive teams that develops a car multimedia system based on Android. The developer will be participating in a full-lifecycle ASPICE development process including requirements analysis, SW design creation, implementation, and documentation phases.

Requirements:
- 3+ years of work experience
- С++11
- Good understanding of multithreading
- Development in UNIX/POSIX or Android userspace
- Debugging skills
- Familiar with SW design practices
- Familiar with design documentation creation
- Familiar with Git
- English: Intermediate or better

Nice to have:
- Android development (Java, native)
- Understanding of design patterns and principles (SOLID, etc)
- Unit test development experience

Job Responsibilities
- Create detailed SW design documentation (including class and sequence diagrams)
- Develop SW modules in C++ (and occasionally in Java) for custom Android services
- Create unit tests

Department/Project Description
Our Client is a top Tier-1 company in the automotive world. The project is implementing software for the Client's infotainment hardware platform that is intended to be used in the mass-production car/vehicle market.

SW platform: Android 8.1+
HW platform: Snapdragon 820a+

The scope of the project includes SW design preparation, implementation, integration, and maintenance phases with adherence to modern industry standards for the development processes of the automotive segment (Automotive SPICE).
