Scala developer (offline)

Our client is an innovative Swiss P2P lending platform connecting credit seekers with investors — efficient, transparent and secure. It’s the largest and fastest growing platform, and you will help them reinvent credit by creating smart algorithms and a stable, scaling platform.

Required skills
• Master’s degree in software engineering, data science, math or physics
• Excellent programming skills
• Proven expertise in Scala and/or Java
• Commitment to code quality and testing

As a plus
• Expertise in SQL is a huge plus
• Experience with the Play Framework and Akka
• Experience in agile/scrum processes
• Data science/quant modelling
• Functional programming
• Experience with the actor model

Responsibilities
• Help build API and services using Scala and Java .
• Create smart algorithms for credit analysis and operations.
• Build innovative solutions for P2P investors and partners.
• Help streamline the development and deployment processes towards continuous deployment.
