JavaScript backend developer (NodeJS) (offline)

In order to accomplish our mission, we need you to help us build our Web Crawlers so we can collect information from all around the web and more, normalized it and offer it to our users.

Missions:

- Analyse and define how you can crawl various source of information such as Website, API or flat files
- Make sure that your crawlers are robust enough to handle source changes
- Optimize the performance of your crawlers - Cloud is cool, but CPU costs a lot :) let’s save money and trees!
- Define common tools to speed up the development
- Be part of an experimented team (more than 15 years in the web crawling activity)
- Collaborate with the search engine team
- Use state of the art technologies

Requirements:

- Advanced experience in Internet protocols (HTTP is must)
- Strong knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and Web technologies in general
- Strong knowledge of Regular Expression
- Knowledge of reactive functional programming
- Experience with GIT
- Well-structured approach to problem analysis and solution development
- Good English communication skills (oral and written)
- Experience with web crawlers or scrapers is a plus
