Job Description
US Healthcare Experience (Mandatory)
Expertise in US Health Insurance Claims Processing (Mandatory)
Knowledge of Medical Claims / Pharmacy Claims process
Knowledge of Workflows for billing
Strong knowledge of SQL and SQL Server (Mandatory)
Experience in ETL and data warehousing testing and BI reporting tool testing (Mandatory)
Strong exposure to Software Testing tools like ALM (Quality Center), JIRA
In-depth experience and demonstrated proficiency with QA methodology, process, and deliverables
Expertise required in source to target data testing, data completeness testing, ETL job setup and validations
Knowledge of test planning activities & tools, test environment setup methods, test scripting methods, and tools
Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and visualization concepts
Knowledge in tools like Visual Studio, VSTS (Visual Studio Team Services), TFS (Team Foundation Server)/Azure DevOps
Familiarity with Agile methodology for project
Experience of working with teams across other geographies in onshore/offshore model
Good understanding of Membership, Claims, Pharmacy orders
Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment and learn new concepts/software technologies as needs arise
Adaptable and flexible meet demands, being relentless and passionate to get the job done
Strong work prioritization, planning, and organizational skills."

Job Responsibilities
Perform Business Analyst and Test Analyst functions for Data Warehouse project
Understand the existing data warehouse/databases, inbound data files, and data ingestion process
Work with client stakeholders to capture business requirements for the building data warehouse, data marts, reports, and dashboards
Apply Healthcare knowledge to correctly understand the data, KPIs, and metrics for reporting
Design, plan and execute product testing including functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing and performance testing for an analytics product including data visualizations and ETL
Estimate, plan and execute testing activities for analytics content
Design, write and execute effective manual and automated test cases and create test data as needed
Discover, reproduce, prioritize, retest and clearly document system defects
Develop, update and maintain relevant test metric reporting
Perform test coverage analysis and requirements tracing. Actively participate with the team in software requirements, design and code reviews to provide early and continuous feedback
Work with team to continually improve test processes and practices based on inspection, adaption of previous iterations and to ensure adherence to process, tools and metrics standards within the project team
Understand data flow and test strategy for ETL and visualization testing
Write advanced SQL queries for ETL/data warehousing/visualization testing
Possess the ability to research issues and improve processes
Develop and deliver the artifacts in Agile methodology

Department/Project Description
The client is a consumer-focused health insurance and technology company that knows healthcare can be complicated and confusing - they want to change all that. The client takes care of the complicated stuff, so you can think about getting and staying healthy, instead of worrying about managing your healthcare. Our client is now looking for an Engineering partner to ingest pre- and post- adjudicated claims into a single standard model, with complete traceability and the ability to tie the claims financially. The intent is that the project will be run as a separate independent thread by a partner, with product management, architectural and software engineering oversight, and review but generally partner managed.
