Machine/Deep Learning engineer (offline)

For an interesting R&D project, we are seeking an experienced Deep and Machine Learning engineer.

Our startup is the world's first fully automated, AI-based, interior designer. With our project, shoppers can receive professional interior design services, perfectly customized to their needs and taste at no cost, and immediately.

Our product integrates into homeware and furniture Ecommerce retailers, including companies like MADE, Mobly, Temple & Webster, R&H, Walmart and so on.

This is a key position in the core of the company's technology, working directly with our CSO.


Responsibilities

1) Develop state-of-the-art and novel deep neural network architectures.
2) Develop training and testing pipelines to assess the performance and robustness of these architectures on
relevant image processing tasks, including scene understanding.
3) Data collection, curation and management.
4) Keep up with deep learning literature and research publications in order to implement the latest
techniques into our networks and pipelines.
5) Work on a breadth of software frameworks and libraries, e.g., Keras, TensorFlow, SK-Learn etc.
6) Develop prototype solutions and take part in their deployment to production in cooperation with devops.

The candidate is expected to develop high-quality software designs, and apply best coding
practices that allows for both high-performance and easily understandable software for maintenance.

Qualifications needed

1) Masters or PhD is required in computer science, engineering or similar.
2) 3+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning and deep learning development for computer vision.
3) Expertise in advanced machine/deep learning methods and architectures.
4) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: optimization, probability theory, statistical inference.
5) Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
6) Strong programming skills: C/C++, Python.
7) Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS.
