Mid/Senior Environment (Middleware) Engineer (offline)

Netcracker Technology Corp., a large software development company and one of the world's most respected TOMS Solutions (Telecommunications Operations and Management Solutions) companies, has an opening for Sen/Middle Environment (Middleware) Engineer.

Responsibilities:
Manage Application implementations of various Production Installations, upgrade application startup/checklist tasks, log files, queues, and transactions for exceptions and react (fix/escalate/inform)
Develop and maintain automation scripts for solution patching
Third-party software administration (e.g., Oracle, Weblogic, JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, Java)
Participating in Environment architecture and capacity planning (e.g., server configuration, file system plan, network configuration, etc.)
Maintenance window planning and coordination with all stakeholders
Day-to-day environment monitoring and administration for the overall health of operation environment, including Server Health Checks, Network connectivity with Interfaces, Application performance monitoring, etc
Interface with different workgroups including Tier2, Technical support groups, and development, System Administrators to troubleshoot and resolve application issues
Troubleshooting build, deployment, performance and configuration issues.

Requirements, several of the following competencies:
Experience in the administration of Java-based middleware servers. Such as Weblogic, Jboss, Tomcat, WebSphere servers
Strong knowledge of Java VM. Configuration, performance issue analyses, monitoring
Strong knowledge of Unix architecture, configuration and tools
Experience in Oracle database administration
Experience with Unix shell/Perl/Python scripting
Experience in working in large production systems deployments
Experience in SSL/PKI concepts
Basic knowledge of PL/SQL and DB concepts
Familiarity with change management process
Knowledge of Basic networking and Storage
Effective oral and written bilingual conversant in English
Understanding of Continuous Delivery and DevOps methods
Strong knowledge in networking concepts and protocols
Practical experience in scripting (Ansible, bash)
This position requires being part of a 24/7 on-call support team

Will be of advantage, any of the following competencies:
ITIL certification
Linux/any middleware administration certification
Working knowledge in RBM/TOMS
Must be able to demonstrate creativity and out-of-box thinking in analyzing and delivering solutions
Previous experience in automating large scale deployments of applications in a cloud is a plus (Openstack + Ansible)
Knowledge of PostgreSQL database, Cassandra database, etc
Knowledge of HAproxy, Pacemaker, Corosync, keepalived
Knowledge of logstash, greylog
Experience in configuration management of medium and large environments with Jenkins, Puppet, AWX, salt automation tools (installation, writing manifests, troubleshooting, etc.)
Experience in developing monitoring agents for Nagios and Graphite is a plus
Experience on Telecom Domain
Good communication to handle/manage bridges and sending a status update on MW
Good negotiation skills.
