Senior Database researcher (Cyber-security) (offline)

Responsibilities:
We are searching for a database security researcher to join our team.
The team is responsible for assessing the security risks related to RDBMS & Big Data services in the organization.
The team is a focal point for all the security knowledge and security risks related to databases.
You will have a unique POV of the correct configuration to secure our customer's data and database services from end to end.
To protect our customers, you will create security policies to detect, alert & mitigate possible attacks happen in real-time in the database.
You will learn all security risks related to a variety of RDBMS & NoSQL services, and help our customers to configure them correctly to prevent data loss, data theft, DOS, etc.
Make sure that our customers are up to date with all security updates – following DISA & CIS Benchmarks.
Make sure that our customers are up to date with all security regulations – following PCI, HIPPA, FISMA, SOX, GDPR
Security patches, research new vulnerabilities with proven POC to help mitigate against known CVEs.
New releases – every new database release will be analyzed by the team to assess new features risks
As a data security leader in the market you will push new updates to customers to precede the Community and Security Market and give our customers the best protection from upcoming threats.
Analyze database commands to help predict potential threats.
Help to develop automated tools to implement & test security-related problems in a variety of environments.

Skills:
• 1-6 years of experience in different RDBMS databases (specifically Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, and DB2) – must
•Deep knowledge of Linux environment – must
•Proven experience with shell scripts in Windows & Linux (batch, bash) – must
•Strong SQL skills -must
•Knowledge & Experience with all different tasks of database maintenance including performance tuning, backups, user management, audit configuration, database installation, and patch installation. – must
•Java – must (at list 1 from the team must know Java to maintain the tools including GUI, CVEs & PrivOps tools)
•Python – must (the detection tool of CVEs is written in python Using Selenium)
•Experience with Oracle including database installation, patch installation – must (at list 1 from the team must know Oracle since this is a major part of the work)
•Experience with Chef/Puppet – advantage (this is important because the DB automation using Chef)
•Proven experience with a variety of regulation including PCI, SOX, GDPR, FISMA, HIPPA – advantage
•Proven experience with implementing security regulations based on DISA/CIS – advantage
•Experience with Big Data (MongoDB, Cassandra, Hadoop) – advantage
•Regular expression – advantage
•Information Security – advantage
•Risk Management – advantage
•Self-learner
•Good communication skills
•Upper-intermediate English.
