Front-end Engineer for a Swedish startup (offline)

Along with figuring out the product-market fit for our consumer-facing service, Gastrofy comes a need to strengthen our front-end expertise.

Our ideal candidate is an inspired engineer, with a strong passion for developing efficient user interfaces - for web and for mobile alike.

You will join a small, cross-functional team where your focus will be on evolving the user-facing side of our platform. It’s an Angular App today, while our ambitious product roadmap suggests that we should start looking into other technologies. React and React Native feel like the natural choices, but your help will be much needed in making this decision.

While being a driving force behind figuring out the new direction for our front-end architecture, you’ll also be expected to be comfortable with supporting and expanding our existing Angular set-up.

None of these are strictly mandatory, but the ideal candidate likely has them:
- Effortless communication in English
- Degree in CS or an engineering relevant field
- 3+ years of commercial web development
- Experience with Angular, React, and React Native
- Well-versed in architecture patterns, system design, product lifecycle

You will be part of a growing team, working in a remote-first agile environment. In your day-to-day, you will work alongside experienced engineers that love innovation.
