Senior Node.JS/Vue Engineer for Product Startup (offline)

We are now in stealth mode using computer vision, developments in mobile hardware, and consumer tech to build a new generational phenomenon. Our mission is driven by our behavioral research into how today’s connected communities work. From our insider’s view of live streaming/hip-hop/groupchat/esport/selfie/influencer/(and tik-tok,?, jk) communities, we’ve helped establish new norms and know what’s coming next.

We are looking for the brightest minds eager to work on some of these newest technical challenges. We’re light on job req details, heavy on finding those who have done it before or want to prove they can do it.

RESPONSIBILITIES - Own, design, & build entire systems from scratch - Influence or manage the technical direction for the entire company - Influence the product development - Look back in two years and be able to say “I was there when it started”

EXPERIENCE - Various backend architectures (monolith, serverless, and microservice) - AWS components (S3, CloudFront, Lambda, Kinesis, etc.) - System design and tool selection - CI/CD design for backend tools - Strong background and understanding of media content distribution and optimization - Understanding of core security concepts and data access patterns. Preferred experience with: - Graph databases (Neptune, Dgraph) - Load testing (artillery or similar) - Content recommendation systems - Vue.js frontend framework - Search optimization (elastic search, etc.)
