Test Automation Engineer Senior (offline)

You will
Work with projects’ leads in understanding business needs, defining technical issues, and proposing solutions;
Contribute to the development of automation testing approach, as well as design and/or platform architecture best practices;
Perform Test Automation effort estimates;
Manage and track the day-to-day performance of the project’s Test Automation team performing requirements analysis, test planning and strategy creation, metrics and lessons learned collection and analysis, risk identification and tracking, and reporting on the regular basis;
Plan and prioritize the work for Test Automation team, distribute the tasks between team members;
Review and approve automation test scenarios, test cases, test results reports, and bug reports of team members;
Ensure that test automation and/or QA-related project documentation and other artifacts of automated testing meet the agreed standards/guidelines and are kept up-to-date;
Support, educate, coach, onboard and help test automation engineers to come up with the best technical solutions;
Drive training standards for test automation engineers through collaboration with the functional manager(s);
Provide recommendations to Team Lead and/or Project Manager to improve Test Automation-related procedures, systems, and tools;
Actively participate in daily project team meetings and brainstorming activities related to the project issues.
You have
4+ years of experience in creating automated test case suites, automated test cases design and running;
2+ years of test automation experience with web-based applications;
1+ years of test automation team leadership experience;
Experience of interviewing, onboarding and coaching of Test Automation Engineers;
Excellent communication skills, as well as collaboration and mentoring skills;
Upper-Intermediate writing and speaking skills;
Experience of working on complex projects that require a deep understanding of the application logic and dependencies;
Understanding Software Architecture and Design such as OOP and Design Patterns, UML;
Solid Java experience with Java SE, Java EE Web Services (REST), Guice, Json for Java, etc. Knowledge of JavaScript will be a plus;
Web technologies knowledge as HTML/CSS, HTTP(S), DOM, AJAX;
Solid experience with Selenium (WebDriver) architecture, patterns and approaches, Selenium Grid and Appium;
Solid experience with selector strategies (XPath, CSS selectors), frameworks (TestNG, jUnit), and build tools (Maven, Gradle);
Knowledge of tools: IDE (Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA), Artifactory/Nexus, Jenkins, Chrome developer tools, Git, Code review tools, Jira, Confluence, MS PowerPoint and/or Google Presentations;
Experience in building of automated testing/regression framework from scratch;
Experience with bug tracking systems and bug reports creation and verification;
Experience with estimation of test automation activities on the project level;
Strong theoretical knowledge base in software testing;
Good understanding of software development lifecycle;
Experience with analyzing requirements, creation, and execution of test cases and reporting of test results;
Proficient level in communications with the client;
Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, presentation and time management skills;
Strong sense of teamwork;
Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment;
Ability to motivate people, instill accountability and achieve results.
Good to have
Experience managing geographically distributed teams;
Experience in testing of e-commerce solutions;
Knowledge of alternative programming languages (C#, Groovy, etc.);
Understanding of XML, JSON, DTD, XSD, parsers.
