Senior Xamarin Software Engineer (offline)

Now, as we grow fast and smart, Avenga is looking for a Senior Xamarin Developer to join our team on a full-time basis on a huge USA project. This position gives you the opportunity to develop Xamarin competency in our company. The project reaches millions of consumers by powering mobile and online ordering for many of the country’s largest restaurant chains. Mobile ordering and payments is an exciting and active industry full of interesting players and yet still a relatively untapped market ripe for disruption.

As part of the team, you will play a significant and visible role in helping us scale one of the most advanced food ordering platforms in the market. While primarily focused on our backend, the position requires a broad technical background throughout the stack. We pride ourselves in hiring only the best people and we score 11/12 in the Joel Test.

Responsibilities:
Development, estimation, requirements analysis;
Communication with customers;
Cooperating successfully with other engineers, developers, architects, Quality Assurance, and management team in order to achieve perfect communication results and understand the needs of the project well;
Lead and supervise Middle developers on a project if it needs.

Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years experience building mobile apps using Xamarin/C#;
Understanding MVVM pattern, MvvmCross;
Knowledge of GitHub, TeamCity, Octopus;
Expertise in C#, .NET, MVC, and Web API;
Knowledge of the specifics of the Android and iOS platforms;
Good understanding of computer systems;
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues;
English - Upper-Intermediate;
Excellent communication skills.
