Chief Operating Officer (offline)

We’ve experienced a wonderful period of growth as the direct result of increased efficiency and productivity. To continue on this trajectory, we are looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer. You will be a key member of the executive team, reporting to the CEO, and will maintain control of diverse business operations, so we expect you to be an experienced and efficient leader that can drive extensive and sustainable growth.

The tasks of the Chief Operating Officer are very different, but the sequence of actions is approximately the same. We will expect you:

Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures
Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
Oversee daily operations of the company
Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics Oversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership and departmental heads
Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation
Review, design, and execute on improvements to org structure, find knowledge and skills gaps and help address them
Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity
Build and develop relationships with all employees for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations, and help to define new operational strategies, working with CEO and executives on special projects


Our ideal candidate:

Proven experience as Chief Operating Officer or relevant role
3+ years in a business or executive management role
Proven experience organizing and directing multiple teams and departments
Evidence of devising a strategy and executing against it
Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Nimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutions
Driven by impact
Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
Experience in fundraising will be a plus
Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
