QA Engineer (offline)

Now we are looking for an initiative professional to join our wonderful growing QA team. We always work with the mot inspired individuals - those who can solve interesting and complex issues together with us. And it would be perfect if you are willing to grow into the leading QA position as we have a lot of great features to be delivered.


Our product is a highload online social community which has gained popularity among users from the USA and Canada.


Here’s what you will be doing:
• Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured checklists, test cases and test design.
• Investigating and solving issues Sherlock Holmes-style.
• Participating in technical communication with developers.
• Working directly with the business and its requirements.
• Being the part of a continuous improvement atmosphere for product design, quality and processes - best practices are welcome!


What you will need to succeed:
• 2+ years of solid hands-on software testing experience.
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of QA processes, testing approaches, principles and methodologies.
• Ability to estimate QA activities.
• High level of self-organization, open and creative mind, sense of humor.

Experience with:
• Creating test documentation (check lists, test cases etc.);
• Mobile applications testing (iOS, Android);
• Testing REST API (Postman/curl, json);
• HTTP debugging (fiddler/charles);
• SQL (select, join, primary/foreign keys);

Strong understanding of:
• All the stages of the Test Life Cycle and Software Development Life Cycle;
• WEB (browser devtools, HTML / JS / HTTP / XPATH / URL / TCP/IP / websocket);
• Client-server applications;
• Jenkins, Git, JIRA, Testrail.

Will be a plus:
• Leading / Mentoring / Managing background and/or ambitions;
• Undergraduate/graduate in Computer Science or related field;
• Intermediate level of English or higher.
