Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer (AWS) (offline)

DESCRIPTION

We work with numerous customers located in Western Europe, USA, Canada, etc.

Joining our team on this position you will be responsible for performing all SCM, Release and Build Management activities, change management, version control, and product component integration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform activities to baseline existing codebases and project artifacts
Manage the maintenance, setup, and modification of continuous build environments
Manage communication with stakeholders
Design Build and Release Management policies and procedures that are compatible with Agile software approaches (especially SCRUM)

REQUIREMENTS

4+ years of project experience in DevOps and Systems Administration
In-depth experience in AWS cloud infrastructure
Thorough knowledge of one of scripting languages, preferably Bash
Experience in SQL queries writing
Proficiency in scripting (like Shell, Groovy, Python)
Familiarity with Relational Databases (MS SQL) and Objects Databases
Familiarity with Linux command line
At least basic knowledge of Incident Management, SLA/OLA
Excellent problem-solving and change management skills
Troubleshooting skills strong enough to be able to perform L2/L3 investigation and deliver resolutions
API usage experience
Expertise in Terraform
Proven technical background at an expert level with the following technologies and tools:
Version control systems (Git/ Bitbucket/ GitLab)
Build tools (Ant/ Maven/ Gradle)
Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins/ Bamboo/ VSTS)
Infrastructure Automation tools (Puppet/ Chef/ Ansible/ SaltStack)
Deployment Automation & Orchestration (Jenkins/ VSTS/ Octopus Deploy)
Container concepts (LXD/ Docker)
Code Quality tools (SonarQube)
Artifact Repository (JFrog Artifactory/ Nexus)
Orchestration (Kubernetes/ Mesos/ Swarm)
Familiarity with SDLC lifecycle
Deep understanding of Agile software methodologies, experience as a must
Strong focus on business outcomes
Being a team player
Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken
