Senior DevOps Engineer (offline)

Required skills:
β€” Experience DevOps software or systems engineer, with a minimum of 4+ years in release automation implementation
β€” Very fluence with Terraform, Cloudformation, and Ansible playbooks
β€” Experience in designing, building and managing large scale application infrastructure in AWS
β€” Strong experience with AWS environment and deployment automation, infrastructure-as-service, infrastructure-as-code, deployment pipeline specification, and development
β€” Experience managing applications in Amazon web services and familiarity with all of their core, compute, networking, storage, security, compliance, serverless, and analytics offerings including AWS VPC networking, and IAM roles, etc.
β€” Expert Knowledge and Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools like Bamboo, Jenkins, Puppet, Docker, Kubernetes
β€” Experience in the automated unit, integration, and end-end testing
β€” Support database environments including replication, log shipping, performance tuning, and backups
β€” Define, develop, and maintain monitoring and reporting infrastructure accountability for the end-to-end availability, efficiency, reliability, and security of our Big Data infrastructure in both AWS and datacenter
β€” Experience building custom tools that automate day-to-day operational tasks on the new AWS platform
β€” Knowledgeable and accountable for setting the standards of our production environment
β€” Worked in agile project management and flexible when managing multiple and changing priorities

As a plus:
β€” Big data related AWS technologies like HIVE, Spark, ETL, AWS Glue, Presto, Hadoop, Athena, RedShift
β€” AWS certified: Architect/DevOps/Big Data
β€” Experience with Qubole, Airflow, and Hortonworks

Responsibilities:
β€” Develop tools and procedures to monitor and automate system tasks on servers and clusters in Cloud
β€” Develop and manage applications in Amazon web services
β€” Ability to build systems that balance scalability, availability, and latency while solving different problems
β€” Participate in 24X7 on-call rotation investigating and responding to Infrastructure related issues
β€” We have based out of the redwood city and the Engineer needs to be available for Scrums and if required for meetings between 8:00 am PDT to 11:00 am PDT
