Product Owner (offline)
Responsibilities
● Collaborate with management to translate quarterly objectives into initiatives
● Own project delivery from definition to release, and post-release monitoring
● Use data analytics to identify problems and opportunities for optimization
● Write product requirements (PRDs), user stories, and specs
● Produce wireframes, user flows, and other artifacts to communicate requirements
● Coordinate with designers, when needed, for design system deliverables
● Manage project scope, milestones, and timelines
● Work with engineering to deliver on initiatives on time
● Perform user-acceptance testing and assist with QA
● Monitor website performance using web analytics and SEO tools
● Assist with execution and measurement of website A/B tests
● Develop expertise in the Shared Platform: use cases, systems and workflows
Qualifications
● Fluent in English
● Excellent written and oral communication skills: able to articulate complex ideas clearly
● Ability to zoom in and out: you can dive deep into technical discussions and project details with engineering teams, and be strategic/big picture with executive teams
● 4+ years Web product management/ownership experience
● Experience delivering products with international reach (B2C, B2B)
● Experience managing development sprints with an engineering team
● Comfortable with project planning tools (Jira, Confluence, Asana)
● Experience with wireframing and flowcharting tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch) ● Familiar with web technologies and concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript): you can hold your own in engineering discussions, and ask the right questions
● Hands-on data analysis skills: SQL and web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, Amplitude)
● Familiar with SEO concepts and best practices
● Detail oriented, and endlessly curious
● Biased towards action and outcomes, and self-learner
● Proven ability to make decisions independently, quickly and with little guidance
● University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or similar field
