Chief Accountant (offline)

We invite those who will:

- Manage accounting department;
- Accounting for all transactions;
- Prepare financial statements, tax returns, other accounting reports in time;
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual reports / closings;
- Dealing with tax audits and communication with tax state authorities, lawyers, consultants;
- Reconcile and managing of accounts payable and receivable;
- Ensure timely bank payments;
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns;
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity;
- Audit and review of financial statements with BIG 10 audit firms;
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary;
- Comply with financial policies and regulation.

Essential professional experience:

- Work experience as a Chief Accountant within big Ukrainian or multinational companies;
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, Ukraine GAAP and IFRS;
- Strong knowledge of Ukraine tax accounting and reporting;
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like 1C 8 and others;
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables;
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills;
- BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree;
- Upper-Intermediate English level.

Desirable skills and personal features:

- Working with BIG 4 on audits, reviews, other;
- Tax audits, communication with state tax authorities;
- Additional certification (ACCA, CPA or CMA);
- BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field;
- Good contacts in Ukrainian banking system;
- Understanding of the international tax regulations on withholding taxes, value added taxes, income / profit taxes;
- Experience in transactions with intangible assets (capitalisation, royalties, IP Box regimes, etc.);
- Strong leadership and organizational skills;
- Excellent communication and people skills;
- Goal oriented;
- Disciplined in terms of deadlines and fulfilment of commitments taken;
- Independent;
- Responsible;
- Having a comprehensive and structural approach to solving problems.
