Lead Big Data Engineer (offline)

About project:
IoT system specifically targeting for mobile operator.
Cloud Backend Platform is already exist, but there will be a new version of it, because 5G comes and there is a list of features and improvements to develop.
The application itself will collect a lot of different KPIs, which will be transferred to the cloud where the whole analytics will be performed.
Also the system will use predictive analysis & reports.
The app is a Big data system, which is using hadoop. Every 30s the data is transferring to the cloud, so there will be really a lot of data to work with :)

About team:
We current looking for Kotlin backed, iOS and Java developer. Teams will be divided to couple scrum teams with a lead in each of it. In Ukraine we will have 9 developers: 3 iOS, 3 Kotlin for Back-end and 3 Java developers.

Position is REMOTE.
Working schedule is till 7, max 8 (not all days) by Ukrainian time zone.
If you are in Chernigov or Cherkassy - welcome to work at our office.

Ideal candidate should have at least three years of experience with all the mentioned technologies.

List of technologies:
- You should have 5-6+ years of experience in development
- Experience working with Hadoop
- Experience working with Elastic Search
- Knowledge with Hive, Spark/Scala
- Knowledge Kafka
- Experience working Java
- Experience of work with Big data projects

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work on new features with Ukraine & US teams
- You will play one of key roles between clients & the team
- You will be leading teams, take decision about new team members
- You’ll be working on products and technology that you find interesting and challenging.
