Product Manager (offline)

As a part of the ManageBac R&D division this position is responsible for the functional and technical design specifications for initiatives adding new features and functionality to an online planning, assessment, and reporting platform for international schools, supporting over 2,600 schools in 120 countries. By providing schools with one unified system on a consistent, modern, and mobile-ready interface, ManageBac offers a seamless & integrated experience for coordinators, teachers, students, and parents.

Requirements
• MUST HAVE previous experience as a Business Analysis/Product Manager/Product Owner in Educational Technology companies developing consumer-centric products and applications within an agile environment;
• Good understanding of SaaS types products;
• Experience designing features and running product tests; writing specifications (use cases, user stories, main and alternative flows, etc.);
• Previous experience writing specifications (use cases, user stories, main and alternative flows, etc.);
• Good understanding of agile development processes (e.g. Kanban);
• Experience with project management and associated tools including Jira;
• Experience in managing teams in the different timezones;
• Previous background in Software/QA Engineering or Design would be a plus
• High level of building communication between business stakeholders and the team to reach a common understanding of the solution to address the needs.
• Fluent verbal and written English for communication and creating documentation.

Responsibilities
• Prepare documentation, such as Functional Specifications and Technical Specifications
• Manage product backlogs and versions according to Scrum methodology
• Understand the goals and business needs of an organization and recommending potential solutions
• Communicate and represent requirements to stakeholders throughout solution development
• Evaluate the value being delivered by new and existing solutions
• Instruct, direct, and check the work of other team members
