Project Description:
As member of the Remote UI Team you will implement Mobile Device integration technologies like Apple CarPlay, Google Android Auto, Baidu CarLife and MirrorLink.
As a Lead Software Engineer in an agile team, you will lead development of features as well as design, document, implement, integrate and test your code. Development will typically have C++ focus and make use of modern tools, technologies, engineering practices and methodologies. You will be natural leader supporting the team to achieve next level of maturity and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Drive architectural direction and decisions
• Develop components\classes according to the agreed architecture
• Support other developers in technical growth and personal development
• Working closely with Development Team, Product Owner and Scrum Master to deliver high quality software on time
• Participation in peer reviews, estimation, and other engineering activities
• Mentor and assist other engineers in or out of your areas of ownership and expertise
• Contribute towards continual improvement of organizational products and processes
Mandatory Skills:
Education:
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Communication Technology or a comparable qualification
Skills required:
• Advanced level of English; German is a plus
• 10+ years' engineering experience
• Embedded Linux Programming (C++)
• Proficient C++17 knowledge, including templates and exceptions
• Android & iOS Programming
• Experience with version control and CI/CD
• Proficiency in problem solving and troubleshooting technical issues
• Excellent organizational, time management, prioritization and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Personal initiative, commitment, perseverance and resilience
• Well-developed communication and teamwork skills
• Aspiration to Engineering excellence
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Experience with Apple CarPlay, Google Android Auto, Baidu CarLife, MirrorLink
• Experience with Bluetooth, USB, Wi-Fi
• Experience with Yocto
• Experience with git, Jenkins, Jira
• Experience with in-vehicle infotainment systems
