Automation QA Engineer (offline)

Requirements

Skills and experience:
– Over 2 years of practical experience in the role of a Software Developer (Java) or QA automation Engineer;
– In-depth knowledge and practical experience in testing techniques;
– Good knowledge of Java with the emphasis on writing Junit tests and their maintenance;
– Basic knowledge in a scripting language (i.e. groovy and shell);
– Good understanding of REST and/or SOAP based services;
– Experience with XML;
– Good working knowledge of at least one Linux/Unix based platform as well as Windows;
– Practical experience in using Docker;
– Knowledge of Jenkins, Gradle or Maven on commercial project and CI.

Optional, but desirable:
– Understanding of Data Integration domain;
– Some experience in Load and performance testing;
– Experience with cloud technologies (like AWS, Azure or others);
– Basic knowledge or working experience with Kubernetes.

Competencies:
– Ability to communicate effectively and clearly in English, both verbally and in writing;
– Eager to learn. In our fast-growing company, new technologies are adopted frequently in our products as well as in the test framework;
– Passionate about software quality to provide the best experience to our customers;
– Ability to work within a distributed international team environment.

Key responsibilities:

- Design and development of automation framework components for our runtime;
- Implement fully automated integration and system tests;
- Ensure the tests can be run in a continuous integration pipeline end-to-end, from environments provisioning to the test results report;
- Analyse, report and track defects.
