Senior Database Administrator (DBA) (offline)

Requirements:
• Deep knowledge of SQL Server and Database configuration based on best practices
• Deep knowledge of SSIS, SSRS and SSAS
• Understanding and improvement of execution plans
• Knowledge of VSTS (Azure DevOps) flow and approval for pull requests
• Experience doing troubleshooting in STG and PRD environments

Will be a plus:
• Deep Knowledge on SQL Server 2012, 2014 & 2016
• Knowledge on other DBMS
• Cloud DB like Aurora, Postgress, Azure

Responsibilities:
• Monitor, report and help resolve database performance issues, capacity issues and replication
• Implement data models & DB design/redesign based on new requirements and performance
• Optimize queries for huge amount of data
• Design and redesign of stored procedure/functions/tables for best performance
• Design and redesign of indexes
• Analysis of purge/archiving of data
• Review and approval of developers’ queries on stored procedures and ad hoc queries
