QA engineer, Test Analyst (offline)

About us
Operating in Ukraine under Norse Umbrella - Qlearsite is looking for a Test Analyst to join our team.
We are organisational scientists, delivering our market-leading products that are underpinned by machine learning and natural language processing (NLP). We are headquartered in London and work for some great brands such as John Lewis & Partners, Virgin Media and e-on.

What we do
At Qlearsite, we build software that helps businesses make scientific decisions about how they engage with their most important asset: their people. For example, we have worked with organisations to understand the financial cost of stress-related sickness, discover factors associated with a high risk of workplace injury and to identify the key drivers of attrition in a business. We believe that transparent, data-driven HR decision-making is better for employees and their organisation.

About you
The ideal candidate should be a pragmatic and diligent person with great attention to detail and the ability to work independently. As this is a fast-paced role dealing with multiple teams across multiple countries the ability to work in collaboration with others and communicate effectively is paramount. We are looking for someone who is driven and eager to take on responsibility and to push themselves to continue learning and improving their skill set. The current team are constantly assessing and improving on current test approaches so adaptability and participation

As this is a new platform our testing team is also overseeing our test automation framework for features, performance, security and accessibility testing.
As a Test Analyst, you will be focused on testing across all areas from the teams outlined above specifically in a manual capacity but with opportunities to get involved in our more technical testing techniques. You will also be required to communicate issues discovered and updates on their progress with stakeholders.

The responsibilities

As a Test Analyst you will:

● Knowledge and/or experience of test automation frameworks
● Excellent communication skills
● Ability to explain complex technical jargon to all members of the company
● Testing tool experience (testrail, jira, Jenkins, Selenium, J-Meter)

About Norse

Our passion for technology goes all the way back to 2001, when Yngve Tvedt and Christian Lundvang established Norse in Γ…lesund. Despite the fact that the dot com world had barely recovered after the bubble burst in the spring of 2000, the two founders decided they would build innovative technology companies.
However, it was never their intention to build another "cool" technology company. The founders built on their fascination for traditional industries to build technology companies that could help solve the major challenges the industrial companies faced. Since then, Norse has built technology for a number of disruptive start-ups, and through hard work, trial and error, has learned to master how to build innovative technology companies that make a difference.

In 2015, Norse expanded its activity to two different business areas: Norselab was created to focus on building meaningful technology companies from the ground up. We in Norse continue to build technology for these companies, but our main focus is to offer our external customers our specialized expertise for developing strategic digital projects.
In Ukraine Norse has 2 offices in Odessa and in Uzhhorod.
