QA Automation Engineer (offline)

Must have:

2+ year of experience as QA
Be able to define a QA plan.
Be able to create functional test
Be able to orchestrate all the tests, automating the process.
Good working knowledge of testing strategies of Web API products , JSON based.
Ruby, Ruby on Rails, PHP, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SAAS
Experience in using test data management strategies and guide rest of developers to do that.
Understanding and application of CI/CD processes
Knowledge of test patterns
Ability to work independently and take the initiative to solve QA challenges
Great attention to detail and result-driven approach
Good team player, self-motivated, self-disciplined and result-oriented person
At least B2 English is must

Responsibilities:

Creation of testing artifacts such as test plans, test cases, test reports, and tests.
Review product requirement documents in close collaboration with product managers and tech leaders to create and document test plans and test cases for features.
Reviewing the test plan and test case documents as needed with key stakeholders.
Contribute to performance testing.
Develop automated tests for regression and feature testing.
Perform pre-release automated regression testing for scheduled feature releases.
Become a subject matter expert by understanding the business use cases and capabilities related to the data platform code base and test frameworks.
Uplevel overall QA team maturity by contributing to cross-functional efforts such as for nightly tests, monitoring test failures, and improving the frameworks that run the tests.
Work with Jenkins (and AWS equivalent) to schedule tests, analyze test results and share metrics and feedback with key stakeholders.
