mid Automation QA Engineer (offline)

The Test Engineer (TE) will play a pivotal role on an exciting project that will leverage new tools, processes and frameworks as we build our testing center of excellence. The Test Engineer will be the voice of QA for a product and an Influencer within the QA organization. Here at Mede, Test Engineers are driven and strive for excellence. *Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*

Participate In all sprint ceremonies; not only test the stories but also ensure acceptance criteria Is clear, conflicts between stories are raised and cleared, and the scrum team has alignment on what Is the expected outcome of all stories.
Design, write and execute test cases, in our test case management tool, on a scrum team with a focus on story, regression and Integration testing.
Build an automation backlog for tests that are ready to be developed.
Provide estimates for sprints Inclusive of functional testing, regression testing, and data validation testing.
Triage automation tests, making updates where needed.
Willing and able to develop automation scripts during sprints.
Collaborate with peers on your scrum team and within QA on areas for improvement and innovations.
Collaborate in establishing Integration Test team, setting standards utilizing best practices
Work across multiple teams within Mede to ensure Integration tests emulate client end-to-end scenarios

*Required Skills*

2-4 years’ experience in software testing with a proven track record in software development and test automation
Highly analytical with a track record for developing expertise in the industry and product under test
Seasoned in efficient test design; keen vision for designing tests for maximum coverage and minimum maintenance
Strong experience with UI script creation & execution
Knowledge and experience with XML, HTML, CSS.
Strong experience writing tests for Webservices (REST & Soap)
Experience with Java
Selenium WebDriver, Selenide or similar browser driving automation tools
Test Driving frameworks: Junit, TestNG
Experience in working with on and offshore teams
Expert in agile and software development life cycle
Strong Communication skills (Written and Verbal)
Ability to work effectively in a team
Results-oriented, self-motivated and quick-learner
Pursuing or acquired Associates/Bachelors/Master’s Degree (IT, MIS, Healthcare Degree or equivalent) is preferred.
Knowledge of JIRA and QA Symphony qTest (or equivalent)
Knowledge of US healthcare industry preferred
