Technical Leader (.NET) / CTO (offline)
A full-service US logistics services company specializing in pick and pack shipping, connected to over 3 dozen shopping carts including Amazon, Shopify, WooCommerce, InfusionSoft, eBay, Jet, and Walmart to mention a few.
Due to continued and future growth, we are seeking a hands-on Chief Technology Officer to join our dynamic, fast-paced leadership team. As CTO you will manage the software development lifecycle, lead the technology team in Kyiv (to be recruited in the next months), and utilize your technical skills to enhance software design and process. Through your guidance, the team will collaborate with the business to successfully develop, implement new systems, services, coding, and architecture.
Responsibilities:
— Act as a technical leader, combine hands-on coding/software development with team leadership and high-level technical consulting.
— Manage the software development lifecycle of our current solutions. Look to constantly improve our solutions by implementing best practices and modern technologies.
— Lead the development process and the technology team in Kyiv (to be recruited in the next months), participate in the hiring and interviewing process.
— Create and execute EDI and API integrations. Build and upgrade API for inward development and webhooks.
— Manage implementation of Deposco WMS and ongoing systems development and architecture.
Requirements:
— Experienced with projects in fulfillment and logistics services, 3PL, eCommerce, and distribution. Understanding SKU and order flow between shopping carts and integrations for automatic handling.
— Experience of leading mid-size engineering teams (4-5 people).
— Experience analyzing, designing, planning and taking a holistic approach to the successful development and implementation of the strategy.
— Knowledge and understanding of how to develop interfaces between different APIs.
— Strong experience in Agile methodologies.
— Ability to accurately estimate development timelines.
— Upper-intermediate English
— Strong technical expertise of full-stack development, in particular: Microsoft Technologies .NET framework, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, HTML, CSS, Web Services, XML and JSON, SQL Server MYSQL.
— Educational background in Computer Science or Computer Engineering will be a plus
