Sr. Engineering Manager / Director of Consumer Technologies (offline)

Location: Kyiv, UA
Type: Full-time, office
Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

◾ Be responsible for the development of multiple cross-platform products;
◾ Run and support the engineering unit in Kyiv;
◾ Cooperate and coordinate product and design counterparts in Kyiv as well as in the US;
◾ Organize and manage (via project managers and product managers) multiple project teams;
◾ Be responsible for resourcing the project teams in charge;
◾ Be a line manager to several subordinates;
◾ Provide support and advice to subordinates;
◾ Run regular 1:1 and performance review meetings;
◾ Cooperate and communicate to upper management on all issues related to project status, resourcing issues, potential risks;
◾ Act on tasks delegated by upper management.

Requirements:

◾ Experience in software engineering (10+);
◾ Experience building high volume consumer products;
◾ Experience of technical/project leading multiple product lines and teams;
◾ Experience in staffing project or product units;
◾ Experience with consumer mobile projects (preferred);
◾ Experience in networking or security (preferred);
