Data Analyst/Data Engineer (offline)

About the project:
This is the leading social network for meeting new people in the US and the public market leader for social discovery. This network makes meeting new people fun through social games and apps, monetized by both advertising and virtual currency.

The main technology stack for the position: Python, SQL, Tableau, AWS, Athena, Redshift, Kafka, RabbitMQ.

Responsibilities:
- Create streaming data models and reports to provide critical answers to key product and management question;
- Create data models that take advantage of streaming data;
- Understand BI report requirements to create reports using our new streaming pipeline flow;
- Monitor existing metrics, analyze data, and partner with other internal teams to solve difficult problems to improve user experience.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience building pipelines for processing large amounts of data;
- Good understanding of statistical analysis;
- Proficiency with SQL;
- Proficiency in Python and other scripting languages;
- ETL experience;
- Experience in Tableau or other reporting tools;
- Basic understanding and theoretical knowledge of cloud services that processes or stores data;
- English at the Upper-Intermediate level at least.

Will be a plus:
- Experience in consuming streaming data from Kaffka, RabbitMQ;
- Experience with AWS (S3, Athena, Redshift);
- Hands-on experience with Hadoop/Hive;
- Experience in Bash scripting.
