Lead AQA Engineer (Java) (offline)

Most of your day is spent working with a cross-functional team of developers, business analysts, project managers and quality analysts to design & develop, test automation frameworks & reusable tools to help deliver a quality product. You will collaborate with the QA teams to assign tasks, mentor, and encourage best practices.

Team: The team consists of 22 engineers (front end and back end engineers) and 3 Test engineers (manual and automation).

Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in testing domain
- Manual testing experience
- Strong automation testing experience using the programming languages either Java and JavaScript
- 3+ years of experience in selenium or its offshoots like protractor, selenoid, etc.,
- 3+ years of experience in API (rest/soap) testing, test automation using rest-assured (preferred)
- Experience in technically leading the QA team in a product
- Experience in Reviewing manual/automation tests & providing optimal test coverage
- Deep technical understanding of design patterns & best practices in programming
- Good understanding of web & service-oriented architectures
- Upper Intermediate English level
- Strong interpersonal, communication skills

Nice to have:
- Experience working in Agile development methodology
- Experience with Angular Framework
- Experience in working with Page object modeled framework

Responsibilities:
- Technically lead testing for the product agile team
- Design & Develop test plan for the application
- Mentor & Review Test cases developed by the team to provide efficient & optimal test coverage
- Design, and develop test automation frameworks & tools
- Support Scrum teams in reducing test automation gaps, supporting them in their test automation challenges
- Engage test automation in Continuous Integration for a quality continuous delivery
- Involve in Code review to ensure high quality test automation is developed & maintained
- Provide QA Sign off for the application to be released
