Data Analyst (PowerBI/DAX) (offline)

Location: Kharkiv, Ukraine
Type of employment: full time, remote
Schedule:‌‌ 8 hours/day from 2pm to 12am, Kyiv time

● is an individual who is responsible to gather, investigate and represent data and filter out useful information from it;
● utilizes a wide array of skills including but not limited to data mining skills, database skills, knowledge of IT, analysis capabilities and presentation skills;
● must be able to elicit useful data from a large amount of information, ask relevant questions to filter information, analyze the resulting data efficiently, use structural analysis to segregate data and make use of different data presentation techniques to deliver the data in the adequate format.

What will you do as Marketing Data Analyst?
● сreate and manage the company’s online BI tool, including dashboard creation, using complex data from different data sources, such as our data warehouse and other API’s;
● conduct preliminary data analysis to assess the nature of data, perform data mining and use querying languages (for e.g. SQL), represent data through graphs, charts, and other representational techniques, present you finding through meetings, presentations, workshops, and seminars;
● сonduct in-depth evaluation and analysis of marketing actions to derive insights and recommendations, creating of customers base for future marketing promotions;
● analyze and aggregate the effectiveness of customer acquisition campaigns using a variety of sources;
● gather information and examine web traffic, social media metrics, marketing campaigns and other activities that will design and create reports for a variety of stakeholders;
● present weekly, monthly and quarterly results to the executive team, as well has provide business insights;
● to provide data insights and recommendations for optimization towards marketing goals, campaign ad spend, and campaign funnels across digital channels.

What skills will you need for this?
● work experience of over 2 years at such position;
● experience with data mining and marketing analytics;
● familiarity with SQL, data warehousing, transformation, and processing. Work experience with real data for customer insights, business, and market analysis will be advantageous;
● familiarity with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, etc.);
● knowledge and solid experience with Power BI;
● opportunity to work 8 hours from 2pm to 12am (Kyiv time);
● exceptional presentation skills;
● written and spoken English skills: Upper-Intermediate;
● proven problem solving and debugging skills.

Will be a plus:
● Bachelor’s or Masters in a quantitative field (such as Engineering, Statistics, Math, Economics, or Computer Science with Modeling/Data Science);
● ability to program in any high-level language, familiarity with R and statistical package;
● statistical knowledge in standard techniques: Logistic Regression, Classification models, Cluster Analysis, Neural Networks, Random Forests, Ensembles, etc.
