Project Manager (offline)

We are looking for a project manager (PM) to work at the Mykolaiv office as our company is growing.

As PM you will manage a small team consisting of TeamLead, two Python developers, QA (part-time), and DevOps (part-time). The team develops projects mostly "from scratch", using Python. Customers are mainly from the US and Europe.

You will receive new projects (and new clients) from the Sales manager. Then your function as a PM is to clarify the customer's requirements, assign tasks to the team, and deliver the project on time.
Also, the project always is limited by a budget, which also needs to be controlled (the number of hours spent).

Our working conditions are quite comfortable: a workplace with two monitors, a playroom, a kitchen, etc. We are located in the center of Mykolaiv at the intersection of Pushkinskaya st. and Potemkinskaya st.

To help PMs we developed a “Project guide” describing what you need to pay attention to on each stage of the project (taking into account our specifics). It helps to avoid common issues on the project in the future. Also, our company has a Delivery manager (he is a co-founder) who trains and controls PM’s work on a regular basis. He uses “one-to-one” meetings for that purpose. That is, you will constantly receive "feedback" about your work.

At the moment, our company consists of 40 people and a low hierarchy - you can always come to the co-founders and ask any question or solve an issue.


“Must have” requirements for a candidate:

experience (at least 1 year) in conducting commercial projects
demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, and methods
experience in defining projects, collecting requirements, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule and deploy new features sets
experience in managing budget and cost
technical background
at least Upper-intermediate level of English
experience in Agile methodologies
understanding SDLC
understanding the testing pyramid
understanding QA principles and approaches
experience in simultaneous management of several projects

Would be great to have at least a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, etc.)
