Database Kernel Architect (offline)

Position Responsibility:
Leadership in technical planning and architecture design of Huawei’s database services. Support of delivery and implementation of key product features to increase competitiveness and build industry-leading solutions. Proactive communication with CIO or CTO of customer companies on design and architecture of new features. Investigation and tracking development trends in the area of cloud RDS and NoSQL products. Creation of long-term development strategies.
Position requirements:
Education background: Bachelor or higher degree. ICPC winner or PH.D is a plus.
Work experience: Rich knowledge about the database kernel architect and technology: Database, SQL engine, storage engine, optimizer and executor, Solid knowledge about how to design features for performance, reliability and so on. Deep understanding of cloud database features provided by various cloud vendors in the industry like MySql, PostgreSQL and so on. Best experience with open source community like MySql, PostgreSql and so on.

Professional knowledge: More than 10 years of research experience in related fields of database kernel development.
Professional skills: Rich knowledge about the database kernel architect and technology : Database, SQL engine, storage engine, optimizer and executor. Rich knowledge about how to design features for performance, reliability and so on.
